Bakersfield Moves is a study that will identify how the metro region of Bakersfield can invest in transit over the next several years.
The study includes robust community engagement, including community surveys, stakeholder discussions, and public outreach at local events. Information gathered from these touchpoints will directly influence the development of a strategic plan to guide transit investments to get Pflugerville connected locally and to Central Texas regionally.
What is this project?
Pflugerville Connect is a study, in partnership with CapMetro, that will identify community needs and opportunities for transit investments for residents, visitors, and workers in the city. During this year-long study, the project team will be completing a comprehensive evaluation of local data and trends to eventually make actionable recommendations to City policymakers.
Community participation is a vital component of the study. Pflugerville residents and stakeholders will have multiple opportunities to participate in the study by providing in-person and online feedback via scheduled community meetings, pop-up meetings, online surveys, and social media.
